कारगिल में शहीद हुए 22 साल के कैप्टन विजयंत थापर का यह पत्र मुझे एक मित्र की मेल से मिला है।
इसे ब्लॉग पर लगाने के पीछे मेरी सिर्फ इतनी ही मंशा है कि लोग यह जान पायें कि हमारी अच्छी जिन्दगी और अच्छे भविष्य के लिये कैसे हमारे फौजी अपना सब कुछ छोड़ कर अपने सीनों में गोलियां खा रहे हैं।
ऐसे वीर सिपाहियों को सलाम
Dearest Papa ,Mama , Birdie and Granny,
1. By the time u get this letter, i will be observing you all from the sky enjoying the hospitality of Apsaras.
2.I have no regrets; in fact even if i become a human again i'll join the army and fight for the nation.
3.If you can, please come and see where the Indian army fought for your tomorrow.
4.As far as the unit is concerned the new chaps should be told about this sacrifice.I hope my photos will be kept in the 'A' coy mandir with Karni mata.
5.Whatever organ could be taken should be done.
6. Contribute some money to orphanage and keep on giving 50/- rupees to Ruksana per month and meet yogi baba.
7.Best of luck to Birdie, never forget this sacrifice of these men .Papa you should feel proud. Mama so should you, meet ........(i loved her). Mama ji forgive me for everything wrong i did.
